The Masonry Carafe is crafted from upcycled glass by skilled glassmakers. Each piece begins with a mold made by arranging four stoneware bricks to create a negative space between them. Molten glass is then mouth-blown into this one-time mold, allowing the carafe to take on the raw texture of the bricks as the hot glass presses against their rough surfaces.
Once released from the mold, artisans shape the top of the vessel, ensuring each carafe is truly unique.
